Mel Shimkovitz is an American actress and writer. She played Jude (also credited as Jules) in the Amazon series *Transparent* (2014–2015). She has writing credits on episodes of *High Maintenance* (2016), *SMILF* (2017) and *Kevin Can F**k Himself* (2021).

Earlier in her career she worked in visual effects and founded the independent record label Voodoo-Eros in the 2000s. She has also directed and appeared in several short films.
