## Biography

Melanie Allen is a British production designer working in film and television. She trained in interior design and has credits spanning drama, comedy and period pieces.

Her work includes the BBC miniseries *Three Girls* (2017), *Save Me* (2018), *Wanderlust* (2018) and *Anatomy of a Scandal* (2022) for Netflix; the BBC series *Whitechapel* (2009) and *Miss Austen Regrets* (2008); and the feature films *The Theory of Flight* (1998) and *Bullet Boy* (2004). Later projects encompass *Extraordinary* (2022–2024) for Disney+ and the upcoming *Tommy & Tuppence* (2026).

Several of her productions have received BAFTA and RTS recognition, including wins for *Three Girls* and *Save Me*.
