Melisa Wallack is an American screenwriter and film director. Born in 1968 in Wayzata, Minnesota, she attended Skidmore College before working in business. She moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and began her screenwriting career after meeting other writers.

Wallack partnered with Craig Borten on the screenplay for *Dallas Buyers Club* (2013). The pair received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. She wrote and co-directed *Meet Bill* (2007) with her husband Bernie Goldmann, received a story credit on *Mirror Mirror* (2012), and has other writing credits including the television series *Believe* (2014).
