## Biography

Melissa Iqbal is a British science fiction writer. She graduated from the National Film and Television School and previously worked in production on shorts and features.

Her television credits include an episode of *Humans* (2018) and six episodes of *The Nevers* (2021), on which she also served as executive story editor and producer. She wrote and executive produced the FX series *Never Let Me Go* (2023). In 2014 she won an Academy Nicholl Fellowship for her screenplay *The Death Engine*, and in 2016 she was named a Screen Daily Star of Tomorrow.
