Meredith Scardino is an American screenwriter, showrunner and producer. She began her career as an animator before moving into television writing, with early credits including *Best Week Ever* (2004) and *Late Show with David Letterman* (2005–2007).

She wrote for *The Colbert Report* (2008–2014), part of the team that won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music, or Comedy Program in 2008, and later contributed to *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* (2015–2019) as a writer and co-executive producer. Scardino created the comedy series *Girls5eva* (2021–2024) and has written episodes of *Mr. Mayor* (2021). She has received four Primetime Emmy Awards.
