## Biography

Meredith Stiehm is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing for *Northern Exposure* (1990) in 1994 and later contributed to *Beverly Hills, 90210* (1990). She wrote for *NYPD Blue* (1993) over four seasons and for *ER* (1994) for two seasons.

Stiehm created the CBS series *Cold Case* (2003), which ran for seven seasons, and co-created the FX series *The Bridge* (2013). She served as a writer and executive producer on *Homeland* (2011) for five seasons. She has been president of the Writers Guild of America West since 2021. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English and playwriting.
