## Biography

Merideth Boswell is an American set decorator and production designer. She began her career in the early 1990s as a set decorator on films including *Natural Born Killers* (1994), *Apollo 13* (1995) and *That Thing You Do!* (1996). She later transitioned to production design, with credits including *The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada* (2005), *In the Electric Mist* (2009) and *The Homesman* (2014).

Boswell was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in ceramics from the University of Arkansas. She received Academy Award nominations for Best Art Direction for her set decoration work on *Apollo 13* (1995) and *How the Grinch Stole Christmas* (2000). She has frequently collaborated with director Tommy Lee Jones.
