## Biography

Merje Veski is a production designer working in film and television. She serves as production designer on the FX series *The Bear* (2022–), for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2024 for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour).

She previously worked in the property and art departments on films including *Source Code* (2011), *Contagion* (2011), *Man of Steel* (2013) and *Jupiter Ascending* (2015). Her production design credits include *We Grown Now* (2023), *Dig Two Graves* (2014) and other independent features. She is also credited as Merje Veski Carroll on earlier projects.

Originally from Estonia and based in Chicago, Veski has a background in theatre. She is resident set designer at Trap Door Theatre and has received Jeff Award nominations for scenic design.
