## Biography

Michael B. Hoggan is a film and television editor, writer and director. He worked on the series *Miami Vice* (1984) as editor across multiple episodes, co-wrote the episode "French Twist" with Jaron Summers, directed "The Cell Within", served as story editor on numerous episodes and as associate producer on two.

Hoggan has edited episodes of *Sliders* (1995), *Crusade* (1999), *Early Edition* and other series. He has received Primetime Emmy nominations for his work. As of 2024 he is a professor of film production at California State University, Northridge.
