## Biography

Michael Baylis is an American animation director and storyboard artist. He was born on 15 August 1981 in Syracuse, New York.

He earned a B.F.A. in Illustration from Syracuse University in 2003. Baylis began his career as a storyboard artist on Fox series including *The Cleveland Show* and *American Dad!*. He has directed episodes of *Bless the Harts* (2019–2021), *The Great North* (2021–2024) and the *King of the Hill* revival (2025–2026).

Baylis teaches Illustration Concepts at Syracuse University's VPA LA Semester programme.
