## Biography

Michael Benson, also credited as Mike Benson, is an American television writer and producer. He wrote episodes of and served as co-executive producer on *The Bernie Mac Show* (2001–2006) and *Entourage* (2004–), frequently collaborating with writing and producing partner Marc Abrams.

In 2006 Benson and Abrams established the production company Catapult 360. His other television writing credits include *Just Shoot Me!* (1997), *Breaking In* (2011) and earlier series such as *Big Wolf on Campus* (2000). He has also written comic books, including a year-long run on Marvel's *Moon Knight*.

Benson received Humanitas Awards for episodes of *The Bernie Mac Show* and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Writers Guild of America Award for *Entourage*.
