## Biography

Michael Borkow is an American screenwriter and television producer. He began his career writing for the sitcom *Flying Blind* in 1992 and subsequently wrote episodes of *Roseanne* and *Friends*. He served as executive producer on the fourth season of *Friends* (1997–1998).

Borkow's other credits include writing and producing work on *Malcolm in the Middle*, *Mom*, *Joey* and *Welcome to the Family*. He received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 1996 for Outstanding Comedy Series for his contributions to *Friends*. He studied at Harvard University and Columbia University, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree.
