## Biography

Michael C. Martin is an American screenwriter and television writer. His feature screenplay credits include *Brooklyn's Finest* (2010) and *10 Cent Pistol* (2014), the latter of which he also directed. He contributed as a staff writer to the AMC series *Hell on Wheels* in 2014.

Martin grew up in East New York, Brooklyn, and studied film at Brooklyn College. Before entering screenwriting, he worked as a transit worker. His television writing credits include episodes of *Sleeper Cell* (2005), *Lethal Weapon* (2016), *Shades of Blue* (2016), *Empire* (2015–2020), *Star* (2016–2019), *Wu-Tang: An American Saga* (2019–2023) and *Bad Monkey* (2024). He has also received screenwriting credit on *The Vatican Tapes* (2015).
