## Biography

Michael Joseph Cassutt (born 13 April 1954) is an American television writer, producer and author. He began his career in radio and at CBS before becoming a full-time screenwriter in 1985.

His television credits include staff writing on the 1985 revival of *The Twilight Zone*, story editing on *Max Headroom*, and freelance or producing work on *Beverly Hills, 90210*, *Stargate SG-1*, *Farscape* (2000), *Andromeda*, *The Dead Zone* and *Z Nation* (2014–2018). He has also written science fiction novels and short stories, including *The Star Country* (1986) and the *Heaven's Shadow* trilogy with David S. Goyer.
