Michael Crabtree is an American actor. He played Lewis Menefee in the 1983 film *Tender Mercies*. His other film roles include Riot Cop #2 in *The Return of the Living Dead* (1985), Air Force Gate Guard in *Real Genius* (1985), Governor Hardin in *The Life of David Gale* (2003), and Joseph in *Dark Places* (2015). Television credits include appearances in *Dallas* (1978), *The A-Team* (1983), *North and South* (1985), *Walker, Texas Ranger* (1993) and *Temple Grandin* (2010).

Crabtree has also directed, written and produced several independent films, including *Odd Man Out* (2013) and *Freaks* (2017).
