## Biography

Michael Curtis is an American television producer and writer. He worked on the NBC sitcom *Friends* (1994) as a writer, teleplay writer, story writer and executive story editor across multiple episodes, and as a producer, co-executive producer and executive producer during seasons two to five.

Curtis co-created the Disney Channel series *Jonas* (2009) with Roger S. H. Schulman and served as its executive producer. He was also executive producer on *Phil of the Future* (2004). He received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series for his work on *Friends* in 1999.
