Michael Daly is a television writer, creator and occasional director. He created the series *Sonny Spoon* (1988) and wrote episodes of *NYPD Blue* (1996), *The District* (2000–2003) and *CSI: NY* (2006). He also directed one episode of *CSI: NY* and worked as a technical consultant on *The District* and a consultant on *The Deuce* (2017–2018).
