Michael De Guzman is an American screenwriter. He wrote the screenplay for the film *Jaws: The Revenge* (1987), directed by Joseph Sargent and based on characters created by Peter Benchley.

De Guzman also contributed teleplays to the anthology series *Amazing Stories* (1986, two episodes). His other credits include numerous television films such as *Hidden in America* (1996), *Caroline?* (1990), *The Angel of Pennsylvania Avenue* (1996) and *Red Earth, White Earth* (1989).
