Michael Doherty is a Canadian film and television editor. He is a graduate of the film programme at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Doherty is known for his work with director George A. Romero, serving as editor on *Land of the Dead* (2005), *Diary of the Dead* (2007) and *Survival of the Dead* (2009). His television credits include editing 13 episodes of the series *Hannibal* (2013–2015), as well as episodes of *Wynonna Earp* (2016–2021), *Ransom* (2017–2018) and *Cardinal* (2017–2018).
