## Biography

Michael Golamco is an American playwright and screenwriter of Filipino and Chinese descent. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in English literature, and began his career writing plays including *Year Zero* (2009) and *Build* (2012).

Golamco joined the writing staff of the NBC series *Grimm* (2011) in its third season, serving as story editor and executive story editor while contributing teleplays and stories to multiple episodes through 2016. He later wrote the screenplay for *Please Stand By* (2017), co-wrote the screenplay for *Always Be My Maybe* (2019), and provided a teleplay for *Nightflyers* (2018).
