Michael J. Davis was a British cinematographer who worked in television and film from the 1960s to the 1990s. He contributed to series including *The Sweeney* (1975), where he served as lighting cameraman, *The Professionals* (1977–1983) and *Minder* (1979), and later episodes of *Inspector Morse* (1989). His feature credits include *Pressure* (1976), *Checkpoint* (1987) and *Hôtel Terminus* (1988).

Davis was nominated for a BAFTA Award. He was married to director Gabrielle Beaumont from 1994 until his death in 2008. He is the father of cinematographer Ben Davis.
