Michael L. Mayer is a production designer and art director. He is credited on the television series *Bones* (2005), serving as production designer for the Los Angeles unit from 2007 to 2012 across 89 episodes.

His other television credits include production design on *L.A. Law* (1989–1994) and *Judging Amy* (1999–2005). He worked as art director on *Untraceable* (2008) and as production designer on the film *The Wizard* (1989), both credited under the name Michael Mayer. He has received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his work.
