Michael Magill is a sound editor and film editor. He began his career with assistant and apprentice editor roles in the early 1980s, including on *Amadeus* (1984) and *The Black Stallion Returns* (1983).

He received an editor credit on *The Unbearable Lightness of Being* (1988). Magill is known for his extensive work as a dialogue editor and ADR editor on films including *Ghost* (1990), *The Mummy* (1999), *War of the Worlds* (2005), *The Dark Knight* (2008), *Dawn of the Planet of the Apes* (2014) and *Mad Max: Fury Road* (2015). He has also contributed to *The Amazing Spider-Man 2* (2014) and *The Equalizer* (2014).
