## Biography

Michael Mahoney is a Canadian producer. He began his career in 1971 in the distribution department of the National Film Board of Canada and later worked in the camera department as a camera assistant, director of photography, director and producer. In 1998 he founded Magic Rock Productions in Nova Scotia.

Mahoney has produced numerous television series and films, including the series *FROM* (2022–), *The Mist* (2017), *Chapelwaite* (2021) and *Locke & Key* (2022), as well as the films *Books of Blood* (2020) and *Polaroid* (2019). He has received two Gemini Awards, a Genie Award, two Primetime Emmy nominations, a Christopher Award and a Cine Golden Eagle.
