## Biography

Michael Malarkey is a British-American actor and musician. He was born on 21 June 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised in Yellow Springs, Ohio. In 2006 he moved to London, where he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Malarkey began his career on the London stage, appearing in productions including *Spring Storm*, *Beyond the Horizon*, *The Great Gatsby* (as Jay Gatsby) and the original London company of *Million Dollar Quartet* (as Elvis Presley). He is best known for playing Lorenzo 'Enzo' St. John in the series *The Vampire Diaries* (2013–2017), first as a recurring character and later as a series regular. Other television credits include Captain Michael Quinn in *Project Blue Book* (2019–2020) and roles in *The Oath* (2018–2019), *Westworld* (2022) and *The Night Agent* (2023). He has also released music albums as a solo artist.
