## Biography

Michael McCusker, also credited as Mike McCusker, is an American film editor. He graduated from Emerson College with a degree in film theory and production in 1988 and began his career as a production assistant before working as an assistant editor, notably under David Brenner on several films.

McCusker received his first solo editing credit on the Johnny Cash biopic *Walk the Line* (2005), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing. He has frequently collaborated with director James Mangold on films including *3:10 to Yuma* (2007), *Logan* (2017) and *Ford v Ferrari* (2019), winning the Academy Award for Best Film Editing (shared with Andrew Buckland) for the latter. His other credits include *The Wolverine* (2013), *The Girl on the Train* (2016), *The Greatest Showman* (2017) and *Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny* (2023).

McCusker is married to film producer Deirdre Morrison.
