Michael McGreevey is an American actor and screenwriter. Born on 7 February 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, he began acting as a child and appeared in numerous films and television series, including a regular role as Chip Kessler in the series *Riverboat* (1959–1961) and parts in Disney productions such as *The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes* (1969), *Now You See Him, Now You Don't* (1972) and *The Strongest Man in the World* (1975). His feature film credits include *Day of the Outlaw* (1959), *The Way West* (1967) and *The Shaggy D.A.* (1976).

McGreevey later worked primarily as a writer and producer. He contributed episodes to series including *The Waltons*, *Quincy, M.E.* and *Wonder Woman*, and served as writer, story editor and producer on *Fame* (1982–1987). He wrote the teleplay for the *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* episode 'Babel' (1993). He received a Daytime Emmy nomination for co-writing the *ABC Afterschool Special* 'The Celebrity and the Arcade Kid' (1983). He is the son of screenwriter John McGreevey.
