## Biography

Michael Michaelian (21 February 1944 – 2 May 2023) was an American television writer. He wrote the story and first draft teleplay for the *Star Trek: The Next Generation* episode "Too Short a Season" (1988).

With his then-wife Katharyn Powers he wrote episodes of *Kung Fu* (1972), *Petrocelli* and *The Quest* (1976), for which they received the 1977 Spur Award for Best TV Script from the Western Writers of America. He also wrote episodes of *The Dukes of Hazzard* (1979), *Charlie's Angels* (1976) and other series.
