Michael O'Hare was an American actor who performed on stage and television. Born Robert Michael O'Hare Jr. on 6 May 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, he died on 28 September 2012 in New York City. He studied at Harvard University and the Juilliard School, and appeared in Broadway productions including a revival of *Man and Superman* and the original stage version of *A Few Good Men*.

O'Hare was best known for playing Commander Jeffrey Sinclair in the first season of the science fiction series *Babylon 5* (1994), a role he left after the season for mental health reasons. He returned for guest appearances in later seasons. His other television credits include episodes of *Law & Order*, *L.A. Law* and *T.J. Hooker*, while film roles include *C.H.U.D.* (1984) and *The Ambulance* (1990).
