## Biography

Michael Rispoli (born 27 November 1960) is an American character actor. Raised in Tappan, New York, he graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a degree in theatre in 1982.

He played Jackie Aprile in the first season of the HBO series *The Sopranos* (1999) and was a series regular as Rudy Pipilo in *The Deuce* (2017–2019). Other credits include *While You Were Sleeping* (1995), *Rounders* (1998), *Kick-Ass* (2010) and *Pain & Gain* (2013).
