Michael Scheff is a television and film writer. His credits include episodes of *Moonlighting* (1985), *Murder, She Wrote* (1985–1994), *Magnum, P.I.* (1986), *Matlock* (1988–1989), *Hart to Hart* (1980–1981) and *Silk Stalkings* (1994). He also wrote the screenplay for the feature film *Airport '77* (1977) and contributed to *Boulevard Nights* (1979).

Scheff served as story editor on *Hart to Hart* and *Tucker's Witch*, and worked as associate producer on *Kojak* (1975–1976). He co-produced the television film *Tall, Dark and Deadly* (1995). He was previously married to writer Mary Ann Kasica.
