Michael Shawn was an American actor, dancer and choreographer. He appeared as Ronnie in the 1977 film *The Goodbye Girl*.

Born on 3 July 1944 in Springfield, Illinois, he had a 27-year career on Broadway as a performer, dancer and choreographer, with credits including *Golden Rainbow* (1968), *Promises, Promises* (1968) and *Smith* (1973). He also worked as a choreographer on films such as *Jane Austen in Manhattan* (1980) and *Aijou monogatari* (1984).

Shawn died on 28 April 1990 in New York City.
