## Biography

Michael Simpson, also known as E.Z. Mike or Mike Simpson, is an American record producer and composer. With John King he forms the production duo the Dust Brothers, known for work with the Beastie Boys on *Paul's Boutique* and with Beck on *Odelay*.

Simpson composed the score for *Fight Club* (1999) with the Dust Brothers. He has also written original scores for *Road Trip* (2000), *Saving Silverman* (2001), *Freddy Got Fingered* (2001), *Stick It* (2006) and *The Power of Few* (2013). He won a Grammy Award for songwriting and production on Santana's *Supernatural* (1999).

He has contributed music to additional films including *Zoolander* (2001) and served as musical director for *Tom Green Live*. More recent work includes the score for the Comedy Central series *Tosh.0*.
