Michael Tucker is an American actor born on 6 February 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of Baltimore City College and Carnegie Mellon University.

Tucker is best known for playing Stuart Markowitz in the television series *L.A. Law* (1986–1994), for which he received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations and two Golden Globe nominations. His film credits include *Diner* (1982) as Bagel, *The Purple Rose of Cairo* (1985) as Gil's Agent, *Radio Days* (1987) as Father, and *Eyes of Laura Mars* (1978) as Bert. He has also appeared in *Network* (1976), *Tin Men* (1987), *For Love or Money* (1993) and *D2: The Mighty Ducks* (1994).

Tucker has worked with directors including Woody Allen, Barry Levinson and Lina Wertmüller. He is married to actress Jill Eikenberry, with whom he co-starred in *L.A. Law*.
