Michael Wale is a Canadian cinematographer and director. He began his career as a camera trainee on *The X-Files* and worked as a camera assistant and operator on series including *So Weird*, *Just Cause* and *The L Word*.

As a director of photography, Wale has shot the final season of *Smallville*, the final season of *Fringe*, the first two seasons of *Continuum*, multiple seasons of *iZombie* and episodes of *Yellowjackets*. He has also directed episodes of *iZombie*. He received ASC and CSC nominations for his work on *Smallville* and won a Leo Award for *Continuum* in 2014.
