## Biography

Michele Fazekas is a television writer and producer. She began her career as a producer's assistant on *The X-Files* before writing episodes of *Get Real* and *Ed*. She contributed as a writer and later producer to *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* from 2001 onwards.

Fazekas co-founded the production company Fazekas & Butters with Tara Butters. Their credits include co-creating *Reaper* (2007) and serving as showrunners on *Marvel's Agent Carter* (2015). She has also written for *Hawaii Five-0* (2010) and co-showrun *Gen V* (2023). In 2025 she became the first woman to serve as showrunner on *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*.
