## Biography

Michele Riccardini (1910–1978) was an Italian actor. He trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia after being cast by Mario Camerini in Come le foglie (1934/1935) and went on to appear in nearly fifty films between the late 1930s and 1961.

He is known for his role as Don Remigio in Luchino Visconti's Ossessione (1943). Other film credits include An American in Rome (1954), Ulysses (1954), The Miller's Beautiful Wife (1955) and Ghosts of Rome (1961). From the mid-1960s he worked regularly in television, appearing in around fifteen productions until 1973, as well as on stage and radio.
