Michelle Butterly is an English actress. She was born on 5 February 1970 in Liverpool and trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

She is known for her role as Melanie Dyson in the BBC medical drama *Casualty* (1999–2001), Trudy in the fifth series of *Benidorm* (2012), and Nurse Garvey in *Time* (2021). Other television credits include *Soldier Soldier* (1997), *Eyes Down* (2003), *Beautiful People* (2008–2009), *Little Boy Blue* (2017) and *McMafia* (2018). She has also appeared in stage productions and the 2015 National Theatre Live broadcast of *Hamlet*.
