## Biography

Michelle McGahey is an Australian production designer and art director. She began her career in the art department on Australian productions before working as an art director on *Dark City* (1998), *The Matrix* (1999), *Mission: Impossible II* (2000) and *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones* (2002).

As production designer her credits include *Killer Elite* (2011), *I, Frankenstein* (2014), *2:22* (2017), *Blacklight* (2022), *True Spirit* (2023), *Eden* (2024) and *Spa Weekend* (2026). Television work includes *The Code* (2014–2016) and *Boy Swallows Universe* (2024). She has received multiple APDG and AACTA awards and nominations for production design.
