Michiel Huisman is a Dutch actor and musician. Born on 18 July 1981 in Amstelveen, he began acting in the Netherlands as a child and performed as singer and guitarist with the band Fontane before pursuing solo music releases.

Huisman first gained international attention playing Sonny, a Dutch musician, in the HBO series *Treme* (2010–2013). He later portrayed Daario Naharis in *Game of Thrones* (2014–2016), replacing the original actor, and appeared in films including *World War Z* (2013), *The Age of Adaline* (2015) and *Wild* (2014).

More recent credits include Steven Crain in *The Haunting of Hill House* (2018), Gunnar in *Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire* (2023) and its 2024 sequel, and roles in *The Flight Attendant* (2020) and *Echo 3* (2022–2023).
