Mick Ford (born 1 August 1952) is a British actor and screenwriter. He trained with the National Youth Theatre and began his career as an actor, appearing in films including *The Sailor's Return* (1978) and *Scum* (1979), in which he played the intellectual convict Archer.

Ford later focused on writing, contributing episodes to series such as *William and Mary* (2003–2004), which he created, *Inspector George Gently*, *Ashes to Ashes* (2008), *Single Father* (2010) and several Harlan Coben adaptations for Netflix. He has also written and produced *After the Flood* (2024).
