Mihály Víg is a Hungarian composer, songwriter, guitarist, singer and actor. Born on 21 September 1957 in Budapest into a family of musicians, he co-founded the bands Balaton in 1979 and Trabant in 1980.

Víg has composed scores for several films by Béla Tarr, including *Autumn Almanac* (1984), *Damnation* (1988), *Satantango* (1994), *Werckmeister Harmonies* (2000), *The Man from London* (2008) and *The Turin Horse* (2011). He also contributed to the story of *Satantango* and played the lead role of Irimiás in the film. His score for *The Turin Horse* received a nomination for the European Film Award for Best Composer.
