## Biography

Mike Brett is a British producer and co-founder, with Steve Jamison, of the independent production company Archer’s Mark, established in 2008. He grew up in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, studied English at university and worked in teaching and journalism before entering filmmaking.

Brett produced the documentary feature *Next Goal Wins* (2014), which won the Moët British Independent Film Award for Best Documentary, and its 2023 remake. He also produced *Notes on Blindness* (2016) and other projects including *The Real Charlie Chaplin* (2021). He and Jamison were named BAFTA Breakthrough Brits in 2014.
