Mike Kelly is an English actor. He began his career as an insurance broker before becoming a stand-up comedian, performing in clubs in northern England and appearing on the television series *The Comedians*.

His television credits include roles in *All Creatures Great and Small* (1978), *Open All Hours* (1976), *Edge of Darkness* (1985) as a detective, *Cracker* (1993) as Peter Lloyd, *Common as Muck* (1994–1997) as Ted, *Heartbeat* (1993) and *Emmerdale* as Caleb Dingle. He has played four different roles in *Coronation Street* between 1980 and 1995. He has also worked as an after-dinner speaker.
