Mike Reid was an English actor and comedian. Born Michael Reid on 19 January 1940 in Hackney, London, he began his career as a stand-up comedian before moving into television and film roles.

He is best known for playing Frank Butcher in the BBC soap opera *EastEnders* from 1987 to 2005, with several returns, and for his appearance as Doug The Head in the 2000 film *Snatch*. He also hosted the children's game show *Runaround* and appeared in other productions including *The Dirty Dozen* (1967).

Reid died on 29 July 2007 in Marbella, Spain.
