Mikio Ueda is a Japanese actor. He trained at the Bungakuza Research Institute and En Engeki Kenkyujo after working as an IT engineer, and made his stage debut in a production of James Miki’s *Ikebukuro Waga Machi*.

He is known for recurring television roles including the science teacher in the *Oishii Kyushoku* series, a regular part in the NHK morning drama *Ranman*, and the role of Sakuragi Hisakuri in the taiga drama *Hikaru Kimi e*. His film credits include *Exit 8* (2025), in which he played Man on Train.
