## Biography

Mikkel Nørgaard is a Danish director and screenwriter. He graduated in direction from the National Film School of Denmark in 2001.

He directed four episodes of the political drama series *Borgen* (2010) and numerous episodes of the comedy series *Klovn* (2005–2022). His feature films include *Klown* (2010), *The Keeper of Lost Causes* (2013) and *The Absent One* (2014); he also wrote the screenplay for *The Purity of Vengeance* (2018).

*Klown – The Movie* (2010) won the audience prize at the 2011 Robert Awards, and *Fasandreperne* (2014) won the Blockbuster audience prize in 2015.
