## Biography

Mikkel Serup is a Danish director and writer. He was born on 1 April 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark. He studied at the European Film College in 1993/94 and graduated as a director from the Danish Film School in 2003, with his short film *Frunk* as his graduation project.

Serup has directed episodes of the series *The Killing* (2012) and *The Chestnut Man* (2021), on which he also served as creator. His feature film credits include *Pound for Pound* (2017), which he also wrote, and *The Reunion 2: The Funeral* (2014). He has received Robert Prizes for his work on television series.
