## Biography

Mili Avital is an Israeli actress. She began her career on stage in Israel during her senior year at Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, appearing in *Dangerous Liaisons* at the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv. In 1991 she won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in *Me'ever Layam* (*Over the Ocean*).

Avital moved to New York in 1993 to study at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. She was cast as Sha'uri in *Stargate* (1994) and as Thel Russell in Jim Jarmusch's *Dead Man* (1995). Subsequent film roles include *The Human Stain* (2003) and *Mary* (2024). Her television work includes appearances in *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, *Damages* and *666 Park Avenue*.

She is married to screenwriter Charles Randolph.
