## Biography

Milo Addica is an American screenwriter, producer and actor. Born on 5 February 1963 in New Haven, Connecticut, he began his career acting in Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway plays in New York.

He co-wrote the screenplay for *Monster's Ball* (2001) with Will Rokos; the film earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Addica also wrote *Birth* (2004) and *The King* (2005), on which he served as producer and appeared as an actor. He contributed (uncredited) to the screenplay for *Under the Skin* (2013). He has produced several of his projects and acted in supporting roles in *Monster's Ball*, *Birth* and *The King*.
